RE: 05 Beaver 400HP CAT 9 Intermittent shutdown-wont start

I had a 330 Cat (2001 Mtn Aire) that would do the same thing. CHeck engine light would come on. After being in a three different repair shops, it was determined to be the fuel pressure pump. It had a small leak which would cause it to lose pressure, shutting the engine down.

RE: Thinking about buying an 2004 Travel Supreme

We also had a Newmar product (Mtn Aire) prior to our TS. We think the TS is head and shoulders above Newmar. We continue to have our unit serviced at Coachlight RV in Carthage,MO. No problems with parts availibilty at this point.

It sure feels like fall the last few days. You should be in good shape for color.

RE: KOA Salt Lake City

We've stayed there several times. No problems were encountered. We will stay again if in the area. Very close to the square.

We spent a week at the KOA 3 years ago. We had no complaints that I could remember. Lots to do in the area.

RE: RV Parks, Bar Harbor/Penobscot Bay

Another vote for the Bar Harbor KOA (not the inland one). Right at the foot of the bridge, close to the lobster pound, great sunsets.

RE: Boston City Tour / Campground

We stayed at the Boston/Cape Cod KOA. 5 minutes to train station into Boston. Close to Plymouth Rock & Village. Nice drive out to P-town and the Cape. We would stay again.

RE: Estes Park, CO

Not the KOA. Very small, tight back ins. The kind that you can share coffee with your neighbor without leaving home.

RE: March Travel

Considering March and April are snow months on the Front Range, it could be slick. But it could also be 60 degrees and lots of sunshine. Would suggest you be prepared to sit for a few days when (not if) the weather turns bad.

RE: One opinion on Speedco Truck Lube

$300 for 400hp engine and generator is not bad IMHO.

RE: New Barn for the Motorhome

Don't know how much swing room you have, but we put in a 40' entrance into our driveway. My road to the shop is 12'. I found where the line goes into spetic tank, installed a raiser to dump. Since I found that, we also put in two pads (full hookup, 50 amp) for our visiting friends.

RE: RV Plant Tour?

RE: when I run the pump......

The check value we had on the Mtn Aire was a $1.00 plastic piece of junk. After replacing couple, I bought a brass one. No more problems.
